More than 100 spp. of Inocybes are found in Greenland, most of them forming mycorrhiza with willows. Other important genera are Hebeloma, also forming mycorrhiza with willows, and the large saprotrophic genus of small agarics, Galerina, which is mostly connected to the many mosses. Furthermore, a group of small agaric genera and the truffle Alpova, regularly occurring with alder throughout the arctic and alpine regions.
