Funga Arctica & Alpina volume 6
Funga Arctica & Alpina volume 6. Rust-, black- and pink-spored groups; T. Borgen, H. Knudsen & S.A. Elborne, xxx pp., 2026.
Cortinarius s.l. is the largest group of agarics in cold climates, close in number to Inocybe, see vol. 7. A third important genus is the pink-spored Entoloma. Other groups are the puff-balls, especially the Calvatias, easy and characteristic to find in the large open land-scapes with low vegetation in the high arctic. On the contrary, Coprinus and Psathyrella are unusual, the first genus common on dung of musk-ox, but not elsewhere.
